What I Wore: Central Market

The past few Fridays, my mom and I have made a tradition of going to Lancaster Central Market to stock up on fresh fruits and veggies for the coming week.  Last Friday, we got up early enough to grab a muffin (for my mom) and a peanut butter long john (for me) for breakfast at Market.

My  mom snapped a few photos of me after we ate breakfast, and I couldn't help but think that this is where the "wannabe fashion blogger" in my "About Me" comes from.  I'm not one to pile on the makeup, spend hours picking outfits, and scrutinize my accessories.  I prefer a more carefree, simple look...but I still want to look put together!

This outfit is pretty much as easy as it comes.  The dress is a 3/4 sleeved shift style dress made out of a thick cotton material.  I rolled up the sleeves a bit and threw on a light pink scarf to dress it up a bit.  This dress easily transitioned from market to shopping to lunch and back home to finishing up my chores and having a relaxing Friday night.

Dress: J. Crew / Scarf: Gift from Italy from my bestfriend, Diana / Sandals: Jack Rogers/ Watch: Fossil / Sunglasses : Ray Ban New Wayfarers / Bag: Lilly Pulitzer Cooler Tote
What is your go-to carefree outfit?
xoxo,
Rebecca
