WILW: Study Snacks


Here at Sweet Briar, our dining halls are only open at specific times.  On the weekends, we only have brunch from 10-12 and dinner that starts at 5.  Because I often eat breakfast right at ten, I get super hungry as the day goes on and my head gets buried deeper into my textbooks.  With all that said, I was looking for a snack that was easy to grab/make, not too messy, and something that could be eaten while continuing to study.

In comes Boom Chicka Pop.  This is a "smart" popcorn that only has 35 calories per cup!  I started eating the popcorn alone, but I realized that it needed something else to help fill me up.  I started added a handful of peanuts to a cup of popcorn, and let me just say, what a perfect combination!


On those days when you're craving something sweet, too, a handful of M&Ms would go great in this little mix!

  3. I think it's a lot like Boom Chicka Pop, but I'm totally obsessed, and I mean OBSESSED, with Skinny Pop! This really has me craving peanuts though, so I might have to add those into the mix!
