The City That Doesn't Sleep

Yesterday my family went on a day trip to New York City.  My sister is currently working in the city, so she showed us around.  I hadn't been in a few years, so it was refreshing to being in the hustle and bustle of a big city again.  But, it did make me realize that maaaaaaaybe I don't want to get an internship there this summer.

My favorite part of the day was lunch.  We went to Veselka, a Ukrainian restaurant, in the East Village.  The food was delicious and well worth the wait!  We knew it was going to be good when it was the only restaurant in that area that we saw with a line of people waiting outside.

  2. Your outfit is so trendy! I've always wanted to go to the NYC, but I don't see it in my near future. Maybe your sister can give you the pros and cons of working in the city and you can decide if you want to intern there after all! I'm trying to intern in Seattle this summer (though Seattle and NYC are obviously very different). I love cities!
