#blogeverydayinFEB: Day 10

Day #10: What You Are Learning This Season

It's so ironic that this is today's post.  In my eyes, today is the end of one season as the beginning of a new one comes tomorrow.  Today is my last day of being twenty.  Come tomorrow, at 6:43 am, I'll officially be twenty one!

Twenty was a good year for me.  I met so many amazing people who have helped to shape my life in amazing ways.  I made Dean's List for the first time!  I started to think about the future and post-grad life.  I'm, hopefully, going to have an amazing summer internship in New York City.  Fingers crossed on that one!

With all of that said, 21 is just another year to keep on learning.  To keep on figuring out who I am and what people I want to continue having in my life.

I'm learning how to find true friends, even if they are internet friends who are on the opposite side of the country.  I'm learning how to find out who I am, in terms of what I picture myself doing for the rest of my life.  Remember how I'm a Spanish major?  Although I want to use my fluency to help others, I can't picture myself being an interpreter for the rest of my life.  What can I see myself doing?  Marketing and public relations for an arts organization.  And goodness gracious, praying that I get an opportunity to test the waters on that idea this summer!

What are you learning this season?
xoxo,
Rebecca

  1. praying that you get that opportunity this summer! One of my internships taught me I'd love to do this and the other was "no way, I never want this as a job" so they're so crucial!

  4. Ahhh New York City?! I am so jealous! Hopefully all things go well with getting your internship! That sounds like an amazing experience. I, too, feel like right now I'm truly learning who I really am. It's a wonderful experience seeing things unfold as the world opens up in front of me. Best of wishes for the future, and happy birthday tomorrow! :) -Tessa
