Another Foxfield has come and gone...and I'm actually really sad that it only lasted one day. Yesterday seemed to go by so quickly..but I guess that's what happens when you're having fun! I rode on the bus with school to the races, but Breck and my other friends weren't far behind, so we met up with them pretty early in the day.
It's a bestfriend thing...it's kind of hard to understand.
Emma is one of my closest friends from high school. She goes to the University of Virginia and despite the fact that Sweet Briar is only about an hour from Charlottesville, I usually only see Emma at Foxfield. It's actually funny because it's SO hard to find people at the races...yet we always manage to meet up. This photo set pretty much explains our relationship. We're silly, we're serious, but when it comes down to it, we're plain old friends.
This isn't Lily's first time on the blog...but it was her first Foxfield! Since she already told me she's ready for next year, I'm guessing she had a great time!
I think this is the first time Sydney has made an appearance on the blog. She started out as my freshman RA, but luckily I stayed on her good side and we became friends. I'll be taking over her job as the Academic Judicial Chair in the fall, so let's hope I do as good of a job as she did!
Miss Lauren! Some of y'all may recognize Lauren from her blog Lauren in Lilly. Despite a rocky start to Lauren's day (umm someone threw up on her basically as soon as she got to the races, so she had to go to the Lilly store to pick up a new frock), I was so happy to be able to spend a short moment with Lauren before leaving for the day.
p.s., Isn't her dress the cutest? It's the Ardleigh dress from the new Lilly collection. I'm in love with this dress and there may or may not be one on the way to me...
What a day!Miss Lily and I avoided sunburn, for the most part, saw some horses, and can't wait for next year!
