Rain, rain, go away!

Yesterday's weather was absolutely dreadful.  It was dark and dreary all day with 100% chance of thunderstorms.  Not only that, but we had been enjoying weather in the 70's and 80's at the end of last week, so to wake up to a forecast including 55?  I was not pleased.

When weather like this strikes, there are few things I would rather do than snuggle into bed with a good book.  Unfortunately, with the semester coming (quite quickly, may I add) to a close, the only books I'll be reading in the foreseeable future are textbooks.  It took some serious motivation to even get out of bed this morning, let alone make my way to my 9am American Government class.

The icing on the cake?  I woke up this morning to a forecast of 34 degrees, with a high of 53.  Can I have last week's weather back...please?

Nope, so I suck it up...throw on a pair of wellies, get a sweater out from where I had already packed away my winter clothes, put on a thick coat, and hope that tomorrow's better.

Does the weather affect your mood as much as it affects mine?
xoxo,
Rebecca

  1. 34 degrees?! That is crazy! I woke up today to rain after it's been in the 70s... But it's snowing in some areas around the country, so I'm not complaining!

  2. It was in the 50's here, then all of a sudden we got snow and I had to put my winter coat back together. Now it's finally back in the 40's!

  4. The weather absolutely influences my mood - I can't let myself look outside until I've gotten out of bed and got dressed - otherwise if it's raining I'll try to persuade myself to stay in bed all day :/
