Although I'm only spending half of the week in NYC, I can totally understand why people can feel cooped up when they live full-time in the city. Luckily, I get to spend three days in The Big Apple and the rest of the week surrounded by luscious farmlands at home in Pennsylvania. However, I'm still getting a little stir crazy and the feeling of wanderlust has been consuming my thoughts lately.
Sure, I'd love to go on a European vacation to the biggest and busiest cities in the world, but with my college budget and calendar, I'll settle for a few intracontinental trips. (I mean, if you want to send me to London or Barcelona...feel free, I wouldn't complain!)
Luckily I'll be heading to this beautiful place at the beginning of October....
..any guesses where I'm headed?!

Yes! I'm headed to Sewanee, TN, for my reading days for a fun fall weekend with Bess! My plane tickets aren't quite booked yet, but it's written in pen in my agenda, so that must mean it's happening!
Also penciling in a trip to Portland, OR, to explore the west coast for the first time next summer, and hopefully a trip to Denver, CO, to visit Bess's new home over the winter!
