I'm a huge fan of spending Sunday nights getting ready for the week. Whether that means catching up with friends, doing laundry, finishing up some homework assignments, or recharging my batteries (literally and figuratively).
I tend to follow the same "routine" on Sunday nights during the school year. My Sunday nights start with dinner with friends, and from there, I move into the library or hunker down at my desk for an hour or two of studying or paper writing.
Once I'm done any homework I need to finish, I like to go through and put any dates for that week into my agenda. My Whitney English Day Designer has space for both a schedule (with hourly spaces from 5am to 9pm) and for a to do list. I write in my class, work, and meeting schedule (color coded!) and also any due dates for tests, projects, etc. This helps me to see what is coming up during the week and gives me a good idea of what needs to be done by what date.
Additionally, I try to get to bed by a good hour. I feel like starting your week without a good sleep is the worst possible idea. I don't go to bed super late any day (#geriatricstatus), but I especially hate to start my Monday's with lots of yawning.
