As most of you know by now, I was so lucky to travel to Colorado to spend five days with my bestfriend, Bess (of Belles and Bows). On my first day visiting, we drove up to Boulder for the afternoon. It's a little less than an hour from Denver, but the drive was well worth it. The views of the mountains on the way up were beautiful. I'm no stranger to mountains, as my dorm directly overlooks the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. But the mountains on the drive to Boulder were like nothing I'd ever seen before.
We wandered in an out of the shops on Pearl Street, and before heading back to Denver, we stopped at Fior di Latte for a sugary treat. Bess has quite the sweet tooth, although I definitely do as well, and no meal is complete to her without dessert. Fior di Latte's gelato was average, but the aesthetic and atmosphere of the cafe was to die for - totally instagram worthy!
But even more exciting than any shops or gelato, was getting to spend time with Bess. If you need more insight to our friendship, check out Bess' post,"Why Every Girl Needs a Blogger Best Friend IRL."
